As with the first volume, this second volume is a celebration of the country’s diverse and unique bird assemblages. Birdwatching in the Philippines, Volume 2 is a collaborative effort of the Philippine Department of Tourism, Recreational Outdoor Exchange (ROX) and the Wild Bird Club of the Philippines (WBCP).

The book was launched at the British Bird Fair in Rutland, England in August 2009 and at the Taipei International Birdwatching Fair in November 2009.
