Spotted Wood Kingfisher

Scientific name:	Actenoides lindsayi
Habitat:	Lowland forest understorey.
Birdwatch note:	Endemic kingfisher. Strictly a forest kingfisher easily overlooked in the understorey. Captures insects and other invertebrates as well as small vertebrates. Often calls from high perches.
