Purple Swamphen

Scientific Name:	Porhyrio porphyrio
Habitat:	Freshwater and brackish wetlands, from marshes and lakes to ricefields
Birdwatch note:	Uncommon resident. Very large, heavy bodied with purplish blue plumage, huge red legs and triangular red bill.
