Dark
brown crown and line through eye with fairly uniform greyish
brown body. Often flocks with other surface-feeding ducks.
The only endemic duck in the Philippines. In 2004 alone, 1000+
recorded in Subic Bay, Zambales and Malasi Lakes, Isabela.
Up to 300 birds recorded in Caylabne Bay, Cavite. |
