Hooded Pitta

Scientific Name:	Pitta sordida
Habitat:	Scrub to second growth forest
Birdwatch note:	Only Philippine pitta with an all-black head. When flushed look for fairly small size, white wing patch and a flash of metallic blue in rump and shoulders.
