Common Kingfisher

Scientific name:	Alcedo atthis
Habitat :	Coastal areas, fish ponds and open rivers
Birdwatch note :	Dark greenish blue wings and tail separating it from other brightly colored small kingfishers. Usually perched less than 1m and flies low over water. Will hover before diving head first into water.
