Habitat:
Open areas near water but also in mountains
Birdwatch note:
White head down to upper belly contrast with rufous plumage.
During flight, wings held forward slightly bent at wrist.
WBCP note: Perhaps the most common raptor in the Philippines. Easily seen in Mt. Palay-Palay, Cavite with up to 60+ birds seen at one time.
