A number of Club members gave talks, presentations and lectures to different organizations. On February 10, Maia Tanedo gave a talk to grade school students of the Beacon School; on July 4, WBCP members Carmela Balcazar, Drew Galano and Mike Lu gave a talk for students of Rhoda Tayag at St Scholastica's College, on September 8, Maia Tanedo and Anna Gonzales on the topic of Birding in the City at the ROX on Bonifacio High Street. Anna Gonzales also gave a presentation to the American Women's Forum on November 4, Mark Wallbank gave a talk to the Rotary Club of Makati on March 2 while Jun Osano gave another talk to the Rotary Club of Marikina in December.

The Club was invited by the LGU of Bislig City (Surigao del Sur) Caraga to take part in Region X Tourism Fair on February 23-25. The Winner Foundation also invited the Club to take part in Earth Day celebrations at the Arroceros Forest Park on April 30. Club members conducted a mini-bird festival for residents of Brgy Carmen in Silang (Cavite) on April 9. Department of Tourism-NCR invited the club to set up a booth during the Musikultura event in commemoration of Jose Rizal's birth centenary at the Rizal Park on June 19. Although it rained the whole day, we were able to conduct lectures, conduct coloring activities and sell merchandise.

The Club also initiated and partnered with different organizations to conduct coastal clean-ups at the Las Pinas-Paranque Critical Habitat and Ecotourism Area - most notale were the International Coastal Clean-Up attended by DENR Secretary Ramon Paje and over 2000 volunteers, and the September 11 clean-up dubbed 9-11 Clean-Up.
